Bespoke timber windows and doors, made in Yorkshire
Welcome to Collins & Hall
We design and manufacture bespoke timber windows and doors in our own workshop in the Holme Valley, near Huddersfield.
From a single replacement window or entrance door to a complete property renovation, every project is made to suit the building and the people who live there. Our experienced team can help with the design, manufacture, finishing and installation, giving you one point of contact from your first enquiry through to completion.
We work throughout Yorkshire and the surrounding counties.

Made for your home—not taken from a standard range
Every Collins & Hall window and door is made to order.
We can reproduce the proportions and details of existing joinery, work from architects’ drawings or help you develop a completely new design. Mouldings, glazing bars, frame profiles, ironmongery, colour and finish can all be selected to complement the age and character of your property.
Because we manufacture in our own workshop, we have control over the details that make the finished result look right and perform properly.
Timber windows
We manufacture traditional and contemporary timber windows for homes of every age.
Our range includes flush and stormproof casement windows, vertical sliding sash windows and tilt-and-turn designs. Each window is made to measure, with glazing, hardware, colour and architectural details selected for your property.

Timber doors
From traditional front doors and French doors to contemporary glazed and bi-folding designs, our timber doors are made to suit your home and the way you use it.
We manufacture the door and frame together, allowing us to achieve the right appearance, fit, security and weather performance without being restricted by standard sizes or designs.

Specialists in period, listed and conservation properties
Replacing windows or doors in an older property requires care. The proportions, mouldings, glazing and materials all contribute to the character of the building—and listed properties may also be subject to specific planning requirements.
We regularly manufacture windows and doors to match original or existing joinery. Our experience with Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, conservation areas and period homes enables us to offer practical, informed advice throughout the project.
Where complete replacement is not necessary, we can also advise on the repair, restoration or reglazing of existing timber windows and doors.

From our workshop to your home
We manage the whole process, so you are not passed between a salesperson, an outside manufacturer and a separate fitting company.
Advice and design
We take the time to understand your property, what you want to achieve and any planning or conservation requirements that may apply.
Bespoke manufacture
Your windows and doors are made by our skilled team in our own Yorkshire workshop, with careful attention to proportions, construction and finish.
Factory finishing
Where appropriate, products are finished in our workshop using durable, water-based coatings. A wide choice of colours is available, including colour matching when required.
Experienced installation
Our fitting team installs your new joinery carefully and with as little disruption to your home as possible.
Why we use Accoya
We make most of our windows and doors from Accoya: a high-performance timber chosen for its stability, durability and resistance to rot.
Its stability helps windows and doors continue to open and close properly through changing weather conditions. It also supports a long-lasting paint finish and reduces the maintenance required during the life of the product.
Accoya comes from certified, responsibly managed sources and carries a 50-year warranty against rot when used above ground.
Other timber species can also be used when the design, building or customer requires them.
Honest advice without the sales pressure
Collins & Hall is a family-run business, and we do not employ a traditional sales team.
