Bespoke wood doors
We design and make wooden doors for individual properties, from a single new entrance door to several sets of doors within a larger renovation. Each door and its frame are made together in our Netherton workshop, rather than selected from a range of standard sizes.
This gives us control over the proportions, construction and details that determine how a door looks, fits and performs. Panels, mouldings, glazing, sidelights, fanlights, opening arrangements, thresholds, hardware and colour can all be developed around the building and the way the entrance will be used.
Most of our timber doors are made from Accoya and spray-finished in our own workshop using Teknos coatings. Different elements can be finished in different colours, while dual-colour internal and external finishes are also available when specified.
Choose a door style
Front doors
A bespoke front door can reproduce details from an existing entrance or create a new design suited to the property. We consider the door and frame as a complete assembly, including glazing, weathering, threshold, locks and other hardware.
French doors
French doors provide a pair of opening leaves for access, light and views. Their proportions, glazing pattern, opening direction and relationship with the surrounding building can all be made to order.
Bi-fold doors
Timber bi-fold doors use multiple linked leaves that fold and stack to create a wide opening. Panel configuration, sightlines, stacking space, threshold, glazing and hardware all need to be considered together.
