Timber tilt-and-turn windows

Tilt-and-turn windows have two opening positions. The sash can tilt inwards at the top for controlled ventilation, or open further into the room to provide a wide opening and straightforward access for cleaning.

This makes them practical for upper floors, apartments and contemporary projects where ventilation and inward access are useful. The sash needs clear space inside the room, so furniture, curtains and nearby fittings should be considered during design.

Bespoke wooden windows—not standard units

Our tilt-and-turn windows are made to measure in our own workshop. We can adapt their size, proportions, frame details, glazing, hardware and finish to the building while retaining the practical operating system.

Most are manufactured from Accoya timber, fitted with Low-E double glazing and spray-finished using Teknos coatings. We can advise honestly where tilt-and-turn operation is a good fit and where another window type may suit the property better.
